ID Requirements
We cannot accept military IDs as they are illegal to copy or photograph.
We absolutely cannot accept photo copies of documents, or any document printed on regular paper. All documents must be original and clearly made by a third party.
If you're over the age of 18, we will require ONE of the following:
- valid state issued ID
- valid state issued driver's license
- valid passport
- resident alien card
- tribal ID card
If you are under the age of 18, you will need a parent or legal guardian with you for the entirety of the procedure.
The parent or legal guardian will need their valid state ID, driver's license, passport, resident alien card, or tribal ID card.
The minor will need to provide their birth certificate OR proof of guardianship papers, AND ONE of the following:
- valid state issued ID
- valid state issued driver's license
- valid passport
- school ID (cannot be laminated or printed on regular paper. Photo and name must be printed on the card and cannot be more than 2 years old)
- school pictures (cannot be laminated or printed on regular paper and must be clearly made by a third party. Photo and name must be printed on the same sheet and cannot be more than 2 years old. We usually take the last sheet of the picture packet issued by the school for this).
- yearbook (must be issued within the last 2 years and have the minor's name and picture on the same sheet).
- resident alien card
- tribal ID card
If the minor is accompanied by a legal guardian that is not listed on the birth certificate, we must have the state paperwork (with the embossed seal) stating that the person bringing the minor is indeed a legal guardian. We do not need a birth certificate in this case.
